Announcing Fireside Potlucks!
Come join us on Wednesday evenings for REAP Climate Center’s weekly Fireside Potluck. Join our community of climate-minded friends and folks in an evening of communal cooking, eating, and conversation. Take the opportunity to explore REAP’s beautiful Alameda campus. Some food will be provided, but please consider ‘potlucking’ if you can. RSVP is encouraged, and the events are free of charge.
What is this “Fireside Potluck”?
A weekly event intended to bring together climate-minded community members to talk, eat, and enjoy our lovely campus.
Each week will be a little different:
1st Wednesdays: movie screenings.
2nd & 4th Wednesdays: Low-key topic-based discussions or themes.
3rd Wednesdays: Live entertainment.
Always a good time!
Come help cook, eat, chat, and get involved with your community.
When is it?
Wednesdays starting in March, 4:30 to 8PM. Arrive anytime within that window.
Cooking begins at 4:30pm. Bring your own ingredients and prep with us, or help with our big meals – come lend a hand!
Food is served at or around 6pm
Programming and low-key hanging out continue until closing at 8PM ish...
The event is right after our Wednesday Volunteer Day and Open House, so feel free to get your hands dirty with some volunteer work before coming to the potluck (hand washing stations are available to better facilitate dirt-to-cutting board transitions).
What is this event for? And who?
We want to support our local community by providing an inclusive space to share climate-driven passions, and to share our mission of providing ecological experiences and climate job pathways.
This event is for anyone looking to find community in the Bay around climate, regeneration, and anything related to REAP’s mission.

What do I need to do?
Show up early, show up late, show up right on time – just bring yourself and maybe a friend!
Sign our required waiver before arriving, and sign in when you get here.
There is no price of admission, but donations to support REAP’s mission are always appreciated.
