Ecology & Habitat Restoration
These programs focus on creating support for our ecosystems! By taking care nature’s systems we can increase biodiversity, capture carbon in the soil and plants, build community, and more!
They will also provide the tools and training for ecological and habitat restoration work! With these programs we aim to create more certifications and pathways to green jobs!

Food Forest
We are developing 1.2 acres of our eastern campus into a food forest. With our permaculture designs built around specific anchor species, the forest will flourish with a wonderfully controlled chaos as how they would appear in nature.

Urban Greening
Green space in urban areas is vital to our health and success in the fight against climate change. REAP is looking to expand green spaces beyond its campus to increase urban greening in the community and put the tools to do so in more people’s hands.
-
Bioswale Trail Habitat Restoration
Restoration and preservation of wetlands will be one of our most important tools to combat climate change and sea level rise. The Bioswales at REAP center have already helped mitigate the effects of high rainfall and can be continuously improved and used as an example for others.
